About Fahm
Fahm is a Quran comprehension tool designed to help Muslims understand the message of the Quran. It provides plain-language explanations, historical context, and verse translations drawn from authenticated scholarly sources.
Fahm is an educational aid, not a religious authority. For matters of Islamic law, rulings, or scholarly questions, please consult a qualified Islamic scholar.
Using Fahm
You may use Fahm for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Use Fahm in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to access, modify, or interfere with the underlying systems or data
- Reproduce or distribute Fahm's comprehension content without permission
- Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content from Fahm
Your account
When you sign in with Google, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at khaled1107@gmail.com.
Content and sources
Fahm's content is based on:
- The Quran (Arabic text, Uthmani script)
- Abdel Haleem English translation
- Sahih International English translation
- Ibn Kathir tafsir (abridged) and other scholarly commentaries
- Bangla translations including Taisirul Quran and Rawai Al-bayan
We have made every effort to ensure accuracy and faithfulness to the source material. However, Fahm is a beta product and errors may exist. If you notice any inaccuracies, please contact us.
Intellectual property
The comprehension content generated for Fahm — including overviews, historical context, and bridge reflections — is the intellectual property of Fahm. The underlying Quranic text and translations are used in accordance with their respective licenses.
Disclaimer of warranties
Fahm is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for any losses arising from your use of the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fahm and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to the service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Fahm at any time, with or without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms of Service. Continued use of Fahm after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
